I have a freesat tuner in my tv which I use to watch hd content and iplayer but for most viewing I use a freeview pvr so I had not noticed that quite a few channels on my freesat have very bad break up or no signal at times. The main channels are fine it is more the music channels and some of the kids ones that I have noticed. I plug the freesat into a satellite socket which I think is set up for sky (new build lock of flats with shared dish on roof) would the reason for bad reception be because the dish is "pointed" towards the sky satelites?! Sorry if these are stupid questions but I have no idea how this stuff works!
