Freesat or not

looking to upgrade to a new tv and pvr or blue ray recorder.Is freesat here to stay as i,m about to upgrade my curent tv and dvd player.Do i buy a freesat tv and pvr recorder or do i buy a freeview+ recorder and 1080p lcd tv.have about £1000 /1500to spend.

Any help or sugestions would be most helpfull.

Freesat currently offers high-definition channels, including BBC HD and ITV HD, which Freeview doesn't (yet). But Freeview HD transmissions will start on December 2nd and be rolled out across other parts of the UK during 2010 and beyond.
