Foxsat HDR turns itself on.

My Foxsat HDR turns itself on every afternoon. There's no recording scheduled, or any other reason I can see why it's swithched itself on. In every other respect it works perfectly and I'm very pleased with it. Any ideas why it's doing this?

hi it is looking for some hd channels to record or it might be feeling lonely with only bbc hd or sometimes itv to keep it goingor you may have a ghost scary eh,if i were you id switch the power offthen if it comes back on id get a gas powered one .

Disable 'power on' in setup 'Time'.

Might do the job.

You also have a schedule list of all current and old recordings ,If its on series link you need to filter through the schedule list and delete whats not needed

OK, so it's either pining for HD channels, or haunted. Or both. The excorcism is easy to arrange, getting extra HD channels is a different thing altogether........

Maybe I'll just check that 'power on' option.

Is it really just me getting this problem? Perhaps I should phone the samaritans.
