Matthew am I right in thinking you have gone back to the 2020i's, as I would be surprised as you have said how extremely amazing the Dynaudio DM2/6's are ?

Hi Snooker.

You had a direct impact on my Sunday! Yes, I have been using the Qs for a few weeks and I've been enjoying them. I didn't put them on because I was at all unhappy with the Dynaudios, but when I made the move back to NAD electronics I wanted to start by re-setting myself in a funny sort of way.

Anyway, I had recently read a user review that said the DM2/6 were a good match with the NADs, and your post just pushed me over the edge into getting them out again. I have always loved the Dyns but not always felt they were being driven and controlled as well as they could be. Across a range of music it is clear the little NAD C316BEE really suits them, and it is also clear that they are much better speakers than the Qs. Sibilants and transients are substantially better handled, but they are also so much more assured across the frequency range and, with the NAD amp, they are so rhythmic and addictive too.

Thanks for tipping me over the edge!
