How does this site exactly work...

Recently I gave them the amazon price for GTA5 on the ps3.

They first offered me a discount of 10%. I didn't buy at the time since I was busy.

A few hours later a second offer was created offering 6% off.

Just how many offers do they give you for each item?

I once rejected their offer thrice as they reduced the original discount. The third time, I wrote an explanation of why I rejected the offers & how I missed the original offer as I was busy. The next time I asked them to beat the price, I got the best offer. I think it's very random.

I think it depends on how much demand they have for the item at the time. So, if numerous people are after a PS3 for example, they can negociate a better discount.

Also, they recently changed the policy recently of only creating demands via Amazon, which is a bit rubbish to be honest.

Random, you bet.

I almost thought the longer you delay buying the item... the more offers they create for you.

But the fact they're second offer was nonsense confused me somewhat.

What's the average discount I should be expecting on an item offered by this site?

Best strategy to employ to seek out the best offer?
