Floorstanders vs Bookshelves

In a 750 sqFt room, heigh ceiling (up to 20 feet). Is there a system that can beat the LS50 WII with floorstanders for a roughly equivalent price? (all kind of musics)

My current choice is Klipsch RP-8000F + unity atom. £3800. I don't want to spend much more than that

I have an older version of that speaker. The RF 82 II. Very pleased with them but they have that Klipsch 'forward' sound so be sure that's what you're after. They're excellent with live music.

LS50 with a subwoofer v floorstanders would be an interesting one.
