Floorstanders for audiolab 8000 series

I have an audiolab 8000 series dac , cdm , pre amp and power amp with acoustic energy ae 2's on atacama sand filled stands bought new back in the 90s .Thinking of buying some floorstanding speakers , does anyone have any ideas on a good match ?

If I remember correctly current member @RoA I think tried Quad speakers with his Audiolab integrated with good results (sorry DM if I've got this wrong). In all truth you need to demo various different brands & decide which ones work for you.

I would agree with PP as you're not simply pairing the speakers with an amp, your room is also very important.
Some idea of budget along with brands you may be able to audition in your area might help others formulate a list you could audition
