Hi I am looking for some advice.

I am looking to buy a Full HD plasma or LCD on a budget of £700 to £750

Can anyone make any recommendations? I have heard that Samsung are good but I am open to advice.

Thanks in advance

Size of TV?

Viewing distance?

What will you be watching? (SD, HD, BluRay, gaming.....)

I was thinking of upto 42" TV size.

The viewing distance would be about 2.5 metres.

I currently use it for gaming (Wii and PS2), TV and watching DVD's. I will be upgrading to a PS3 to go with the TV which includes BluRay.

Thanks

I'm about to order Panasonic 42PZ80, Full HD plasma, but a bit over budget at ~£825-850 web price.

I saw this and the 42PX80 HD Ready version (£650) side by side, and thought the Full HD was clearly better at blu ray, and even slightly better at SD performance. My impression is that only Pioneer offer better plasma performance, but at twice the price.

You wont get a Full HD plasma in your price range.

HD Ready would be the Panny 42PX80 and LG 40PG6000 around £600-650
