Finger damage to tweeter

Here was a test for my patience...

... and still fuming a little.

After quite a few months of saving, I eventually purchased a pair of B&W 685 speakers and got them set up in the living room yesterday. I really like them and they were sounding great. I took the cover off the front as I liked the look of the speaker.

Unfortunately a member of the family has used their fingers rather than their ears to check them out and I now have a damaged tweeter! It was really easy to damage - didn't take any force at all really.

Any ideas on what I can do? Will the tweeter "bounce back"? (Long shot I know!) Or will they need to be repaired?

Here's a tip Steve: get a blob of Blu-tac and apply it very gently to the tweeter so it just makes contact, then try pulling the dent out by pulling the Blu-tac. Have tried it a couple of times and it's worked.

try "snogging your tweeter" make a seal with your mouth around it and suck.

But take the blue tack off first !!.

Masking tape....sticky enough to pull it out but easy to remove when done.....Put covers back on when complete
