Films For Real Cinematic Experience

I have a sound bar and with the latest James bond films, Jurassic park films and of course the two top gun films, the sound sounds excellent, but other than these is there really many more with the same impact as these films, for instance Drama films don't usually have the same effect or even other Action films, so generally is there not many films which sound this good especially on sound bars

I doubt that you can usefully categorise by genre, but suspect that action-type of things probably try to be more whizz-bang with sound effects. But for a properly immersive soundtrack you need surround sound, not just a bar.

Comfort break, so just paused Master and Commander stream (Apple TV+ ). Have to say the 7.1 sound presentation via our Denon/CA Minx 22’s/11’s/301 is amazing.

Just read Adkin’s “Trafalgar” and the two work well together.

Currently reading Beevor’s “Berlin”. Guess which seminal “last days” film is next on the list 😉
