Ok, so I've had quite a heavy Radio 1 Live Lounge session today and thought it might be a good spin-off thread from the "Top 5 Best Tracks/Album" types.
I really love the Live Lounge concept, especially artists who cover a track from a style which is a million miles away from their music normality. I find the stripped back accoustic tracks quite raw and spellbinding at times.
So, the qustion is..............
"What are your Top 5 favourite/best sounding tracks from any of the Radio 1 Live Lounge albums?"
Hopefully this isnt quite as taxing a proposition to narrow down as naming your all time favourite tracks/albums! The pool is thankfully a little smaller!
Mine would be (in order of preference):
[*]"Foundations" - Newton Faulkner (original by Kate Nash) [*]"Love Machine" - Arctic Monkeys (original Girls Aloud) [*]"You Know I'm No Good" - Arctic Monkeys (original Amy Winehouse) [*]"Thats Not My Name" - Dizzee Rascal (original Ting Tings) [*]"Sexyback" - Corinne Bailey Rae (original Justin Timberlake)
Ok, so that did prove a little harder than I thought, D'oh!!
