Cannibal Holocaust (uncut naturally) Now this may be a bit heavy and graphic for most on here especially the scenes of Animal cruelty, but if you can see beyond this and all the hype printed about this movie back in the Video Nasty days of the 80's then you will witness a very well crafted but brutal view of where Society and especially the Media have gone and who really is the Barbarians? the Cannibals or the 4 members of the Documentary team who enter the Cannibals wourld?

If you intend on giving this movie a try avoid the UK version as the BBFC have removed almost 7 mins and in this cut form the movie does not carry the same impact or message intended buy Ruggero Deodato, and the soundtrack composed buy Riz Ortolani is fantastic. Get the US region1 Grindhouse version and if you have the stomach for it you will not be dissapointed.[*]

Hmmm, I see your point as the original cut IS the superior film but my vote would go to The Empire Stikes Back. I just prefer the darher tone of the film.
