Jaxwired's topic got me thinking. There are lots of artists I discover, think are brilliant, play a lot then consign to the attic.

Which of your favourites have stood the test of time? I'm proposing an arbitrary limit of 5 years, so anything bought after that shouldn't be considered. Also excluded are those artists you haven't played for years, hear on the radio/spotify, play once, think again how good they are, then never play again for years.

My list would include:

Nearly anything classical, but to pick one, I Musici - Four Seasons

Getz/Gilberto - anything really

Fairport Convention - Unhalfbricking

Oasis - Familiar to Millis

Mari Boine - Eallin

Well I did list nearly everyone from the 70s, I missed Free, Audience,10cc, Neil Young and a few more. Unfortunately for you though it probably means you're a similar age to me. The music still stands up though. We went to a music night at my lads school about 5 years ago and there was a year 10/11 3 piece rock band playing tracks from Hendrix and Cream and I sat there thinking I remember Cream and Hendrix playing this when I was their age.
