Fatman iTube & Sony Turntable

Just looking for some advice. Sorry, I am an amateur when it comes to this stuff. Can you link a turntable onto a Fatman iTube 182 amp?

On my turntable there is the usual right and left input and the grounding connection, but there is no grounding screw on the amp. Obviously, I have no sound (as a result of this). Is there anyway around this?

Hi John,

Does the Fatman have an input specifically marked "Phono"? If not, then you will need a phono pre-amplifier.

The lack of sound is probably more to do with the lack of gain in the amp, rather than the lack of a grounding screw.

Thanks for the advice Mr. Slimfast.

There doesn't seem to be any phono input on the amp. Will look into the Phono pre-amp as you have said to see if this solves my problem.
