Hi

Just registered on site,hence my name firsttimer!!

I have a basic system of Marantx PM7200 Amp & Quad 11L Speaker. Just been given my first lap top! and thinking about buying the above ipod system & Apple Nano. Thought I could replace the Marantz amp and connect into the Quad speakers.

Would this be possible/compatible?

Would really welcome some "expert" opinions!

Imho, there's a big quality discrepancy between the PM7200 and the iTube.

If I were you, I'd look for add-on docks to your Marantz amplifier instead (unless you really want the iTube of course).

Marantz IS201 sounds like the logical choice.
