Epson cuts its projector prices

News just in from Epson re its two high-end projectors:

"The premium, full high definition TW4400 model moves £400, from £2500 down to £2100. Whilst the award winning, top of the range, large screen projector, the TW5500 drops a whopping £500 from £4000 to £3500. Both prices include VAT and are effective immediately. "

The Epsons have tested well - you can read the reviews here - and those price drops definitely put them right in the mix if you're looking for a brand-new beamer....

looks like they are making way for a new model range. 3D perhaps.

Unfortunately not. Despite earlier rumours to that effect we heard last week that the new line up will not be 3D. The 5500 is a cracking unit though, often overlooked in favour of the JVC. I loved mine while I had it.
