Not yet but in a couple of weeks I will listen/use some new hifi including the mentioned Epos'es and naim's new mid range amp amongst some other stuff. Long overdue after spending too much time and money on HT.
For what it's worth it looks like a traditional good old fashioned speaker of reasonable dimensions and should be better for it. Epos metal dome tweeters are (imo) amongst the best and MA could learn a thing or two from the company. The woofer has a familiar bullet dust cap but the rubber surround and woofer fixing seem to be new and conventional, rather than using the inverted surround and cast chassis of the more upmarket models.
I hope it sounds better than anything else at the price and will at last be an alternative to Mordaunt Shorts superb MS20i Pearls, which wee over just about everything else at the sort of budget which the ELS8 is aimed at and, just to add insult to injury, are now available for beer money. Incidentally, they are heavily epos engineered.
