Right, I have a real head scratcher for you folks.
I've been using B&W MM-1 powered speakers for 11 years now, and it's been fine. Yesterday I connected the Edifier e25HD speakers to my laptop which is where it's always been for the last 18 months - in a room about 10m away from the router which is in the kitchen. The Edifier also has Bluetooth but I connected via 3.5mm cable.
What I've found is that the Edifiers are interfering with my Wifi. The only conclusion is that my 7 year old laptop's wifi adapter is not getting along well with the Edifiers. Or the Bluetooth is interfering even though I'm connecting through it. Or the amps are not insulated enough and interfering.
Any ideas will be appreciated. I have since re-connected my MM-1s and the wifi is stable again.
