Dutch Forum Members - Best Solution for TV in the Netherlands?

Dear Dutch forum members, I'm currently living in the Netherlands and am looking for a convenient TV solution. I don't need many channels, though it would be nice to get some German and English ones (I'm in Groningen). My question is whether there is a chance of getting any off air. I understand that there are no analogue transmissions anymore, but is there an equivalent to the British Freeview, where you receive some digital channels for free? My problem is that I don't know for how long I'll be here. I've got KPN internet, but I would rather not commit to their TV package for a whole year. Are there better solutions? Thanks a lot. I think with a 60 cm. dish and a sat receiver pointed to Astra 28.5 you'll get a lot of free BBC and other english stuff.
