HAVE JUST ADDED THE PANASONIC DMP BD55 TO MY HOME CINEMA AND IM AMAZED !
I CANT BELIVE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DD /DTS AND THE NEW LOSSLESS FORMATS
BLU RAY BLEW ME AWAY VISUALY, INSTANTLY, BUT MY EARS HAVE BEEN AWAKEND

I too have recently experienced the hd audio on my system for the first time. For me its more exciting and much more improved than picture quality!! I now have a proper sound stage!

I don't wish to dampen your excitement, but I don't think you'll notice as much difference with a Dolby TrueHD soundtrack!

Blu-ray was a bigger leap forward in visual rather than audio quality as far as I'm concerned, perhaps my kit isn't up to it!
