Drop out of sound

Having connected my Goodmans free view tuner to my system. I am getting a drop out of sound of 1to2 seconds when watching an HD channel. Please help.

Loose HMDI cable or connection? Is it on changing channel, soon after, just once or constantly? What is the other system? 🙂

It happens on all HD channels. I have replaced the home lead and the optical cable but still the same problem. Sony is the surround system I use, do you think it could be the Goodmans.

More likely a setting somewhere on it or the receiver. You need to go through them all systematically and eliminate them. Could be a long process!
