Hi

All my music on iTunes on my Mac is ripped as Lossless (why wouldn't it be?). Of course this will not fit on my iPad - how do I set it to copy my library to my iPad but downgrade it to MP3.

(iPad on load from work - really don't like it - give me my Nexus 7 any day!)

Wife is using my iPad at the moment but from memory when you connect it to iTunes on the info page there is a check box which says something like 'transfer music at xxxkpbs'. Can't remember the rate and I'm not sure if you can change the setting.

I once tried it, and was in a bit of a hurry but it was going to take an age to convert so I gave up on the idea and just had less music on it! Basically make sure you put a bit of time aside to do this...or choose our favourite albums!

hope this (vaguely) helps

Thanks guys

I don't seem to have these options - this is what I get in iTunes

Hi Roger, when you go into iTunes with your iPad attached to your computer, click on your device and then the Summary tab, do you not get this at the bottom?
