Hi guys,

i have two freesat feeds, one via a humax box and one via a Panasonic gt50 tv. I've been trying to get Dolby digital through either to work but can't seem to get it to. I have my ps3 connected to my amp via optical cable and that works fine. If I move the cable from the ps3 to the humax or the tv I can't get Dolby digital feed even though the program's show they are Dolby digital recorded. Any got any ideas, can you only do it over hdmi from the humax? I checked the settings and its set to Dolby digital.

cheers

Sorted, everything set up correctly just that the broadcast wasn't in DD. if you watch the part on bbchd after the news which says to tune to your local bbc1 and that service will resume in xyz minutes then that page is outputting in DD. question now is does anyone know any program's that actually output in DD?

most films on BBC and C4. I don't think ITV does any 5.1 stuff. Jools Holland is sometimes in 5.1. It's a bit hit and miss, really.
