Do surrounds and surround back have to match?

Hi. title may be confusing but let me explain further..

my setup consists of zensor 3 and vokal centre for the front, surrounds are cambridge audio minx min11 and i was going to buy another pair for the surround backs for 7.1 but i thought i may want to wait and enjoy 5.1 for a bit first see how it is before jumping straight to 7.1 (only watched 1 film in 5.1 so far)

but im worried if that the speakers i currently have might become discontinued in the future what happens if i have different speakers altogether and they are not the same as other 2 surrounds?

I won't worry about it. In any case, speaker ranges have a relatively long shelf life.

I would worry as BB says. If by any chance the CA Minx Min11 speaker have been discontinued when you decide to add another pair (which I doubt they will) you would probably still find some on ebay or any other such web site.
