Directional speaker cables

Just a quickie.......have some speaker cable with arrows pointing one way on the sleeving, should the arrows point to the speaker or the amp???

No. In fact, some are merely aspirational.

Yes as John said the arrows should be pointing towards the speakers (i.e., in the direction of the signal). Most manufacturers indicate directionality with speaker cables simply due to the way in which the conductor material has been processed. With interconnects directionality can also be due to shielding configuration. However you may also want to try the speaker cable the other way as may find that you prefer the cable connected in this way.
