Anybody have an idea for a good quality sound card with coaxial input and output?

just using the digital channels won't make a differance to sound quality will it?

All i want to do is have a digital cable from PC to hi-fi and one back again. (to NAD T-163)

as there is not DAC or ADC being used on the sound card it won't have any influence to the sound.

Ah right, ok - yes, in theory, though you never know with Windows - seacrh for PJPro's post on optimising windows playback for ideal setup - I think you need to check there are ASIO drivers for the card (this applies to XP, not Vista)......

I am using Vista at the moment.

I currently have a digital out on my PC with sounds fine through the NAD (though some way of the TAG CD player), but have no digital in.

Forgive me if im wrong but ive googled that card a bit for other reasons and some sites say it is not Vista compatible, so you may wish to check further.
