Afternoon All,

My current second hand KEF Q15 speakers are getting rather tatty for the lounge as they now have holes in the grills (leaving them off isn't an option acording to SWMBO).

The speakers are for a dedicated Music system in our lounge as I am lucky enough to have a dedicated TV room. This comprisses of a CD63KI, Arcam Alpha 8i and Alpha 8P so the speakers are Bi-Amped.

Music taste is really varied and the speakers have to be placed right in against the wall. It is mainly used for background and some listening. I tend to listen to more music in the car and have a pretty good Alpine and Focal system in there.

Money is very tight at the moment, so will the 9.1s be a good buy for my system at £100 new ?

Thanks.

Paul

The short answer is no. You'd be better of getting new grilles.
