denon pma-300v amp + sony cdp-m77 cd player

hi guys,this is my first post.I have an old denon pma-300v pre-main amp and an old sony cdp-m77 cd player can anyone sugest what decent budget speakers would go well with these 2 items or do i need to start from scratch?

it seems like people are unfamilar with you kit korky. maybe speak to your rep you bought it from for more advise.

I would suggest something along the lines of the Tannoy F1 Customs or the Eltax Monitor 3. Next upgrade should then be the CD player. A Cambridge 340C or NAD C515BEE would be a good choice and complete an enjoyable budget system.

thanks for that info, it was nice to get a reply eventually, yes this gear is very old , i checked out the tannoys and they seem very good speakers for the price, will now check out the cd players you recommended, cheers.
