Please, I am beginner in hifi... I bought receiver (DENON DRA700) and speakers (MISSION m66i), and this combination is too quiet. The room is small (maybe 15m2). Volume control on DENON has level from -88db to +18db. I tried CD, DVD, radio, pc with flac and everything seems to me is weak. I must turn the volume knob as far as -10db or even 0db (even higher) depending on the source.
Until know I never had hifi or something similar, only active pc speakers or mini hifi and I expected more from DENON and this big speakers.
Is this DENON (2x80W, 8 Ohm) week for MISSON m66i (150W, 8Ohm), or the Mission is poor, maybe speakers cable is wrong (can cable help with overall volume or just quality) or something else? Can bi-wiring help with volume??? Can I connect one speaker to A and the other to B speaker conection and select A+B on receiver (manual says: A,B ~ 4-16 Ohm, A+B ~ 8-16 Ohm)
Sory for my english and maybe to many questions, but please help
