Denon AVR-3311 and suitable combination

Hello

I am bout to buy a Denon AVR-3311 (today or tomorrow morning). I am also wanting to buy a new CD player and Blu Ray player.

I like the idea of some form of universal player and have been looking at the Denon DBP-2010 or the Marantz BD7004.

Would i be better of with one of these items, or would i be better off going down the seperates root. My goal is to get good CD playback, something comparable to my Marantz DV7001 (which i have been satisfied with since i bought it).

If the seperates root is the way to go i was thinking of the Marantz CD6003 and the Sony BDP-S370 (The AVR-3311 will take care of the video scaling etc).

Which root should i take, any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I can recommend the denon 1611 - it seemed very nice.

depending on budget you ought to consider an Oppo BDP-93 at £499

probably the best thing you`ll buy at that price point
