Hi,

I have Denon AVR 2310 and Monitor audio Bronze AV package
(BR6 as fronts). I use my BR6 also in pure mode for stereo (with
MArantz CD6003). As both AVR2310 and BR6 are bi-ampable, I made the
connecions in such way-my set-up is 5.1. I use surround back for
outputing to HF of BR6 and front outputs for LF on BR6. As I prefer to
listen all CDs in stereo (pure mode of 2310) I am quite concerned if
the sound outputs properly feed my speakers. I feel some lack of bass.
The settings of 2310 are for bi-amping-main zone.

So my questiobn is it ok, or bi-amping is not possible in PURE mode of 2310 and should correct it to normal (terminal links in)?

10x.
M.

Had the receiver long? Are they new speakers? Switched display off the CD6003 when using?

Sounds like you have wired it up ok........using standard mains cables?

Assuming you have been using the equipment regularly, the receiver and speakers will be 'bedded' in by now.....

I used to have the original QED silver anniversairy cable, then moved the QED Profile 4x4 which improved things greatly.....

I'm now on the Chord Silverscreen, which was so much better than the Profile 4x4...

Might be an idea to ask your local hifi shop whether you can borrow some and try it out....might help improve your problem.

Alternatively, I have just added Chord Power Chord mains cable, which has added a large amount of deep bass and punch to the whole sound.....again, something you may like to see if you can borrow to try out......
