denon avr 1909 or 2308

Im looking to change my av amp from a Harmon Kardon AVR 630 to one of the above denons. The thing is which is the bettter product. I know the 2308 is a year older than the 1909 but surely it must be better in terms of sound quality?

I have been offered a new 2308 for £250inc postage, and used 1909 seem to go around the same ish on flebay.

can anyone offer me thier opinions?

i have the denon 1909 and payed £425 and its class so for £250 it sounds good. The only things you will be lacking are the new 3d pass through(video) sound can still go through, stereo pre outs(better to have hifi on its own), pzll 7.1 but the extra 2 speakers are at the front up high. usb input(iphone), hdmi 1080p upscalling.And im sure the new models will have some sort of internet in them so it might be better to hang on for a newer model, but out the 2 i know u wont reget getting 1909.
