Denon 2809 - planned to review?

Do the powers that be at WHFS&V towers plan to unleash their reviewers on the new Denon AVR2809 AV AMP? If so when?

Just as soon as we can get one. The AVR-1909 is tested in the October issue (on sale Thursday), and we received that almost the same moment it arrived in the country. The AVR-2809 shouldn't be far behind.

Sure is. We're doing the AVR-2809 in the December issue (which goes on sale 13th November) but there's every chance it'll go on-line in advance of that.

I know its a bit early but im deperate to find out which amp has the best sound quality and video upscaling between the Denon 2809 and Yamaha DSP-AX863se?

Why are you taking so long to review the Denon 2809 when it is available in the shops ? Does it decode DSD directly to analogue without internally converting to decimating LPCM .DSD has twice the resolution of LPCM

There's a review on p24 of the new mag. ÿIt gets 4 stars - apparently good, but not as good as the Yamaha.
