I bought some of the above to try with my system and was very impressed. I placed them under my Meridian 507, Sony BDP 550 and Sky HD box. I also placed some under my centre speaker and my REL sub speaker. The difference is quite amazing. I have just been watching The Dark Knight and the sound is unbelievable. The depth of the sound is staggering. It has taken my Blu-ray player to another level! I have played Transformers (Blu-ray) and the sound is not lacking anything. (like it stated in the review last year when played with this disc) The low level effects are there in all their glory and the sound is clearer and much more full bodied. The improvement to the REL is astonishing. The bass has more depth and weight, yet remains controlled and subtle with light effects. My B&W LCR60 has never sounded so good. The voices are more natural and open. The same with the CD player. The sound is more separated with a nice richness to the bass and cleaness to the mid range. Treble has improved too and the vocals are expressed more naturally.

Theses are excellent upgrades and for the price are very cheap. I didnt really expect them too work as good as they do. I thought for £15. If they dont work then no great loss. But they do work and work very well indeed.

I got 12 for £15 and they are worth every penny. I weighed up with going for an isolation plynth but I cannot justify the expense over the price for these. If you want to give your system a boost and not pay over the odds. Give these little fellas a try!

I agree, they have helped improve my system alot. I've now got polipods under my cd/bd/skyhd and recently got the heavy duty version - focalpods to go under my heavy reciever. Out of all of them the focal pods under the reciever made the biggest difference. I was having problem with my system sounding overly bright and lacking bass and adding these has totally changed that. It now sounds better than its ever done. Well worth £20... especially if you're not using a decent rack
