Hello everybody,
I guess I might be repeating some people a little hear but I think I might have something new to question here. My budget might not be as large as many here but I want to start small and I still have many other things I'd like to own and buy
Anyhow, I started with deciding on an AVR, and I'm set on the Pioneer VSX-919. I like the usability with an Ipod and for this price (399 euros) it is hard to beat.
Now for the speakers. I'm not thinking of diving in directly into buying 6 speakers to form the 5.1 system. However I'd want to get compatible speakers to do 2.0 and then upgrade.
I've noticed a lot of people here speaking well of the Qacoustics 5.1 system and how it pairs well with most budget systems. However what about the Wharfedale and Tannoy speakers of the similar budget?
I tend to buy online here in portugal because specialised shops here are always a rip-off. Economies of scale, the market is not big so retailers cannot buy in large quantatities.
I can get any of these speakers online at redcoon (Qacoustics) or the Tannoy and Wharfedale on ebay or (offline) maybe FNAC (expensive) or MediaMarkt (can have good deals).
All the best to everyone
