Decent AV Reciever for around £400

Hi I've currently got a PS3 and my current all in one surround sound set up doesn't have a optical line or HDMI input so I was looking at getting a AV reciever to connect up to my current system so I can get surround sound on my PS3. Was also wondering if it was worth waiting till after christmas - thanks for any help in advance.

Easy answer - Onkyo TX-SR605, our receiver product of the year. List price is £400 and you can get a bit off that if you shop around - doubt there'll be many big discounts, but it's always worth haggling with retailers to throw in those extra cables you need!
