I think if your any kind of collector of music,it's pretty much blasphemy not to own some of the Beatles albums.

Why? I've ended up in the past year with 3 mono originals which were my step-father's before he died, including Sgt. Pepper's, and I'll be flogging them when I can get around to it. I tried to appreciate them, but I really can't stand 'em.

Just buy things you like listening to. I honestly can't see the point in spending money on anything else.

Yours blasphemetically,
tsp

I saw it in sainsbury yesterday at the front of the store in one of those cardboard stand things - very hip

but no thanks from me not my cup of tea

Couple of nights ago I purchased the white album. Haven't heard this album for well over 20-years. Jeeze, when you hear tracks like 'Helter Skelter' then Led Zepp owes a huge debt of gratitude to the prefab four.

Impressive sound quality.

Very much a session album.

I picked up Help by the fabs in Tesco the other week, not because I needed it particularly but because it was in Tesco and I was only popping in for bread and milk, what a nice surprise. Anyway it's authentic and sounds mighty fine

I would like to find out the musical tastes of those on here who do not like The Beatles lol
I will be picking up the 50th Anniversary set of Sgt Pepper, the singular greatest album ever made.

I was tempted to buy the 50th Aniversary set of Sgt Peppers on vinyl but I plumped for the CD box set as I aready have copies in stereo and mono on vinyl the Apple USB stick and CD. It is an excellent album but I would find it really hard to choose my favourite Beatles album.
