Dali Zensor 3 vs Dali Opticon 2

Has anybody done a comparison between those two? I Would like to know if the Opticon 2 is a major step up from the Zensor 3, since Rubicon 2 is out of my budget.

Hi, As they are both current models your best bet is to go into a shop and listen to them and see what you think. The Opticon 2 will probably need a slightly more powerful amp so you could get away with a cheaper amp if you use the zensor 3s. I think Dali recommend a min of 30watts for the opticon 2s.

It is definitely a step up. It would have been strange if it wouldn't

I compared zensor 7 with the opticon 6 and the difference is day and night. although my speakers have a ribbon tweeter as well. I dont know how much of a difference it is without them
