Dali Vokal 1 Centre Speaker worth buying?

I have been sent a VIP Richersounds email, with one of these for £79.99

Are they any good?? I can't find anything on them. Plus would it be pointless to match these (sound wise) with my KEF's

I bought it and its amazing. very good build and good vocals.

When did they send this email to you

Oh PS, The vokal is just the name, its actually Dali Ikon thats what it says on the centre.

recieved it today, dont richersounds have a price match policy, if their products are cheaper after a few weeks or something they pay you the difference?

So worth investigating and using with KEF's?

The Ikon Vokal 1 produces a very clean and detailled sound, but I would recommend them for smaller rooms only and matched with your fronts.

I use mine with the Ikon 6's and had to up the center channel dB's a bit so it's not drowing in the front's sound levels (as set by the Audyssey). Furthermore I found that these speakers are vertically very directional. Put them to high or to low above/below your screen and you'll loose detail.

But placed and matched correctly the sound and detail is fantastic. And for 79,- it's a great deal especially if you could get them to lend you one to try-out for a week.

Just spoke to RS and local and head office, and no one had any idea about this vip email. Any chance you could forward a copy as my local is willing to price match and give me a refund of the difference. Thanks

Or say that you wanted the Oak finish and they didnt have it so you went with another colour.....so you are no annoyed that the colour you wanted is in stock and £20 cheaper!!!! Blag it geeze blag it!!!!
