I see they received high praise in a recent 'First Test'. Has anyone compared them to the PMC DB1is?

Which ones would come out on top in a 'dog fight'?

Having heard the Menuets on the end of a CD31 and I30 on Friday, I'd say the DB1is...

It depends on a number of factors and I wouldnt say it is clear cut. The DB1's have the ability to sing just as much as the Menuets and electronics/music/room size all change the outcome. I personally favour the Dali's although the popularity of PMC ensures we sell more DB1's.

Yes, I found them a little lightweight in the bottom end compared to the DB1s and emasculated the Primare combo somewhat to my mind. But this was in a hotel room and based on memory after all. And it was by no means the most disappointing setup, some with much higher prices

I hear what you're saying - thought it would an interesting comparison given their sizes and prices are similar.

The PMCs from experience are pretty neutral and whether, VFM-wise, the Dalis stack up or not?
