Remember the premium prices we paid when CDs first came out? and for quite a while after.

In HMV, Southend High Street about a month ago, I noticed 'classic album' Cds at a fiver or less and vinyl at £20-£25 per single album and thought how things have changed. (Although, at least it seems to be mostly 180 gram vinyl now, as opposed to some of the thin, warped stuff shops used to sell - like a rollercoaster ride for your cartridge, with pops and clicks chucked in for your speakers)

I must have returned 80% of the vinyl I bought in the old days - they saw me coming and gave me the same ones again I'm sure.

Over 15 years ago, and payed almost nineteen quid.

That would have been 3 or 4 hours wages! ( I was poor)

if that trend had continued I'd be paying 50 quid or more for CDs.

Vinyl seems like a bargain considering this.

To own a band or singers music for life I don't think it's that much to pay. Some people want be happy until they get all their music for free which is all kinds of wrong.

Not judging anyone but i really get annoyed when people brag how they download movies that are only showing at the cinema for free.

Sorry for off topic but had to say
