Yes, fair point. I have generally been quite happy with their service so far. The radio was working fine while I streamed iPlayer in HD earlier, so it looks like the uploading is the main bottleneck. My only other objection to this over DAB is that it takes quite a long time to start up when I switch the machine on.
Still wondering if I should try a replacement unit (if there are any available, its a discontinued model), but it will be a lot of hassle if it makes no difference.
