What would be a fair price to pay for a reprocessed Cyrus PreXPd which was purchased from a reputable Hi Fi dealer about 6 months ago for £1K?

as an example moorgate acoustics knock £400 from the £1499 integrated 8xpd.. a reduction of roughly 26.5%... so maybe £700 to £750 for the pre, if it's more than £700 try to haggle, no shame in haggling for repro or xdemo stock

Thanks, that's interesting as I know it was purchased from Moorgate. The guy wanted £850, which I thought was too high, so I offered £775.00 - which he refused. I am in no hurry so will wait and see what turns up on various forums and fleabay.

£775.00 was a more-than-fair offer on your part, he is being unrealistic wanting £850, keep your eyes peeled and I'm pretty sure you'll see one nearer £700. Moorgate is the place to look, in fact if memory serves they had a repro pre8xpd in quite recently.... hmmm

I have a Pre XPD bought in May 2010 from a German dealer.

I might be interested to sell it and 700 Pounds would be ok.Also an X Power , bought from the dealer would be available.

The reason for selling is that my speaker AE1 MK 3 is giving me to much trouble with this combination, so if someone is interested please contact me.
