cyrus dac xp

hi everyone, this is my first post in the forum. i am a cyrus fans and the current system is 8cd 8xpd(as pre) psx 2 mono x300 dynaudio focus 360. i just get the focus 360 2 weeks and do a big step than the focus 140 which matches my system for more than one year and find the 360 is much more detal than the 140 when i listen cd, but not very clear ,as we know the pre amp is the component to determine the quclity of sound, if i change 8xpd as dac xp+, it will change a lot in clear and warm, anyone can help me?thanks a lot.🙂

a new dac xp+ is expensive but i think the rest of your system warrants that you at least try one. you will get the double whammy of better dac and a better pre amp.

not sure that it will make anything warmer tho, but your other components are good enough to determine if there is a difference. and you can still use the psxr and flog the 8 xpd.

you could also consider a stream xp if you want to go down that route in the future and you dont use any analogue sources.

The added QX module makes a huge differance, worth getting on demo if poss.
