Cyrus Amp Upgrade Dilemma

Hi all,

I have a Cyrus 8vs2 and a Cyrus 6DAC in a second system.

I don't need to have 2 systems anymore so I was thinking the best solution to merge all the components.

My idea was to upgrade the 6DAC to the new 8(2)DAC QX and use this amp in the main system with a retirement planner for the 8vs2

Have you had the chance to listen to this amp? How do you rate it compared to the "old" 8vs2? (I love it!). Is there any significant improvement (DAC apart)?

Does the 6dac have pre-outs and the 8vs have pre-in.

If so can't you just join the amps (no cost)

Use the lines on the 6 using its dac and drive the speakers with the 8?

The boxes are slim/neat enough.
