Hi there, I'm fairly new in the audioworld and over the last week I've been strolling around to find myself a couple of speakers and an amplifier. At the moment I found 2 options I could afford.

The first option is a Cyrus 8 DAC amplifier with Audio Physic Classic 10 speakers.

The second option is a Denon PMA 1510AE amplifier with B&W CM8 speakers and an Arcam rDAC or an Cambridge DacMagic 100.

The DAC is needed cause I want to connect my Pc and my tv.

Does someone has experience with those combinations? Or with parts of it? I heard that the Cyrus/AP combo could get a little to analitical? Or a little to harsh?

Please let me know if further information is required.

With kind regards,

Gearry

I'd be very tempted by the Denon. I had a PMA1500AE for a while but had to sell due to financial pressures at the time. It was a very nice amp to listen to, as is my current PMA720AE. I feel the Denons are probably better all-rounders than the Cyrus amps, but really you need to compare both in a listening session to see what suits you best.
