I had a pair of Bose QC35ii for years which eventually wore out. But I really enjoyed their spine-tingling sub-bass characteristics.
So far I have purchased the Sony XM4 and Bose QC45 looking for that same sound but none of them can do it.
I've also tried Sony XM5, Sony WH-XB910N and others in stores, but none of them sound similar.
One track I found that makes it really noticeable is Blinding Lights by The Weekend.

rtings have a handy frequency response analysis that shows how the QC35ii has a pronounced uptick at the extreme bass end.
All other headphones I've looked at roll off at the bottom.
Does anyone know of a current or near-current model of high quality wireless (preferably noise cancelling) headphone with similar characteristic?
I'm not really concerned about the cost but I would like USB-C charging and multi-device capability.
