I have been listening to the beeb iplayer on several stations. I didn't do any direct comparisons by switching forth and back.
Both digital and FM sound decent. The streaming sounding more 'correct' ... digital, quiet and slightly more extended at the top.
My cyrus tuner adds some texture to voices and weight to instruments but is a tad more rolled off at the top. Seems more engaging rhythmically but more noise floor.
Which do I prefer?
FM but I could easily live with streaming.
