Could I use a NAD 658 streamer dac and preamp with a copeland CTA 405A INTEGRATED amplifier? Thanks

I am thinking that it may cause a problem because I would essentially be using 2 preamplifiers at the same time? Sorry to ask a daft question but want to be sure before I buy.

Not a daft question Steve.
Although it would work, it's not an ideal situation with regard to level matching.
As you know, the NAD is designed to drive a power amp, with its max output of 4.5 volts.
It depends on the sensitivity / max level of the Copeland's input, but attenuation is likely to be necessary. Personally I wouldn't pair the two together. (With the sums of money involved I wouldn't want any compromises).
