Hi all,

I just bought a Ipod 160GB and i´m very confused about music conversion to itunes and then to my player.

I have lots of ripped files in 320k but sometimes less, as well as a great deal of FLAC files. Can i convert them all at once to my Ipod? And to what format (Apple Lossless, WAV, other) ?

The quality will always be equal to the one i recorded in the first place?

Tell me your experiences with this and help me

Thanks

I use Apple Lossless, but 320kbps is also fine for me as I struggle to tell the difference. The non itunes compatable files you have can be converted by a number of programmes such as dbpoweramp.

With lossless the quality will be as the original.

iPod supports its own iPod formats like MP4, M4V, MOV, MP3, M4A, WAV. If you want to videos or songs to iPod, you need to convert them to the iPod format first. So a iPod Video Converter is necessary for you. I personally use Aimersoft iPod video converter, since it not only helps me convert video for my iPod, it also allows me to editing my video by adding special effects and watermark.

I have a lot fun with it.

You can also try it out.
